Hayley turned 12!

Her birthday was the day of the VB Tournament so after her game, I took Hayley, her friends Brie and Sami to Pietros for Pizza and fun. My friend Melissa and her daughter (Shelby's friend) Raychel joined us. Hayley's team party was going to be there also but they canceled at the last minute. That's OK, the girls had fun. Later that night, the girls spent the night in our trailer. I should have taken pictures.........oops.

It's so different with tweens and teenagers, than little girls. The conversations were all about boys and the goings on at school with 'who's who' and who's not. Too funny. I had fun hanging out with them. :)

I broke down and bought Hayley a cell phone for her birthday. I was against it, but I feel now that it's a necessity. I just feel better knowing that she can call if she has an emergency or if I just need to know where she is, for my own piece of mind. :)  I put the 'family locator' on her phone.
Other than the phone, cloths were the gift for this birthday. No more toys..........:(  Our girl is growing up.
